Emma Loisel, Chief Operating Officer of The Exchange Lab, is an experienced operations and management professional with a passion for innovating businesses, consumer offerings and industries through the adoption of technology. Her operations and management expertise spans business leadership and strategy, risk-management and security, marketing and
sales, plus general business operations and efficiency management.
Emma has an uncanny ability to surface important business insights and keystones that drive the companies she works with forward at a rapid pace, and demonstrated this in her roles as Business Manager of KPMG Consulting UK, and as Chief Operations Officer of Metrius, a Creative Consulting agency start-up under the KPMG umbrella. In 2003, Emma became the Chief Operations Officer of two Internet-based businesses Atlas Europe and Mediabrokers, which she scaled and prepared for sale to aQuantive LLC. As Managing Director, she skillfully directed these businesses through a two-year earn-out, achieving maximum value at exit. Since 2007, Emma has been investing in various ventures herself, and provides Board and advisory services to a number of businesses while still finding time to serve as a mentor and judge for the London Business School’s Entrepreneurial Faculty.
