Emil Billbäck joined BSN medical in June 2004. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry at Astra Zeneca, before joining Beiersdorf. After 4 years as Division Manager for the Nordic region and Baltic States, Emil joined BSN medical. After a role as Global Marketing Director in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA for Compression Therapy global
business unit he was appointed, in 2006, as Vice President Global Marketing and played a fundamental role in selling BSN to Montagu Private Equity and making BSN medical an independent entity. In 2008, he was appointed Group Director Marketing and Innovation and became a member of GMC. His regional responsibility was Asia-Pacific and emerging markets.
Emil holds a B.S.C in Business Administration from the University of Karlstad, Sweden.
In his role as EVP EMEA, Emil is responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
