As Israel’s former Chief Scientist, Dr. Opper is a leading figure in the Israel high-tech scene. Prior to his appointment as the Chief Scientist Dr. Opper was a Partner at Giza Venture Capital and held various senior positions at Rafael, Israel leading defense systems developer VP R&D and General Manager of the Electronic Systems Division.
Dr. Opper earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at the University of Texas, Austin and his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the Technion.
