Mr. Barak joined Tadiran Telecom's Board of Directors in December 2009 and was appointed Acting CEO in May 2010.
Before joining Tadiran Telecom, Mr. Barak was CEO of Africa Israel Investment House. In spite of the 2008 world economic crisis, which was during his tenure as CEO, Mr. Barak achieved unprecedented accomplishments. During this
time, the scope of the managed assets of the investment house grew, the mutual funds became market leaders, the customers actually earned money on their investments, and the investment house became profitable and received the highest honor from the "Kranot Zahav" investment rating organization.
Mr. Barak brings with him vast experience both in Executive Management and Corporate Consulting with a vast background in the area of mergers and acquisitions, which is a great asset to Tadiran Telecom. Since joining the company, Mr. Barak has made it his priority to become proficient in Tadiran's technology and to get acquainted with the Company's Business Partners, Employees, and Management team.
Mr. Barak is a CPA and holds an MBA from the Israeli College of Management.
