Eivind was appointed CEO of Novo A/S on 1 May 2014.
He has an MA law degree from the University of Copenhagen, was admitted lawyer to the bar in 1986 and the High Courts in 1988. In 1989 he joined the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, and spent 22 years holding positions as Head of Corporate Secretariat, A.P. Møller-Mærsk A/S 1991 to 1995,
as Managing Director of Maersk Hong Kong Ltd.1996 to 1998, as CFO of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group 1998 to 2006 and as partner and CEO of Maersk Line 2006 to 2011. In 2001 Eivind Kolding joined the board of Danske Bank, became vice-chairman in 2005 and chairman in 2011. From 2012 to 2013 he served as Group CEO of Danske Bank.
Eivind Kolding is a member of the board of directors of Novo Nordisk A/S and NNIT A/S.
