Efrem leads the Information Security and Governance Department within MITA, Malta’s central driver of Government’s ICT policy, programmes and initiatives with the ultimate objective of safeguarding Government’s digital assets.
He also stands on the Maltese National Cyber Security Strategy Committee responsible for the development of the National
Cyber Security Strategy and the overseeing of its implementation, intended to enrich Malta’s cyber security posture.
