Edison Liu joined The Jackson Laboratory in 2012 as President and CEO and is the director for The Jackson Laboratory Cancer Center.
Previously, he served for 10 years as the founding Executive Director of the Genome Institute of Singapore and as the President of the international Human Genome Organization (HUGO). Dr. Liu’s research has focused
on the functional genomics of human cancers, particularly breast cancer, uncovering new oncogenes and deciphering the dynamics of gene regulation on a genomic scale. He has authored more than 300 scientific papers and reviews and co-authored two books.
