Mr. Ed Swallow is a retired Air Force Reserve officer and was the Air Force Academy admissions liaison officer director for the Washington, D.C., area. He is chairman of the board of the National Defense Industrial Association’s (NDIA’s) Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics Workforce division.
He was chairman of NDIA’s Space division
from 2003-2005 and the 2004 president of the NDIA Washington chapter. He is a co-founder and member of the steering committee of the Business and Industry STEM Education Coalition. He is a director of the National Guard Youth Foundation, a non-profit that provides scholarships and development opportunities for at-risk youth.
He is also a director and assistant Treasurer of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation. He is a member of IEEE, a senior member of AIAA, and a life member of the Air Force Association.
