Ed brings over 30 years of successful financial, business and corporate development experience to Digital Guardian and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s rapidly-growing global financial, legal and administrative operations.
Before joining Digital Guardian, Ed was the CFO at Interactions Corporation where he was
involved in raising new equity and debt capital and overseeing corporate development activities, including a strategic and large buy-side acquisition. Prior to that, Ed was CEO and President of Tactical Communications Group, LLC. He also served as CFO at a number of companies including Incipient, Sockeye Networks, Open Market, which was a larger publicly-traded technology company, Radview Software, where he successfully brought the company through its IPO process, and Starburst Communications. Ed initially started his career at Ernst & Young LLP.
Ed served on the Board of Directors and as the Audit Committee Financial Expert for Community Bancorp Inc. prior to its acquisition by Citizens Financial Group. He also served on the Board of Directors at Incipient, Tactical Communications Group and Cast Navigation. Ed earned a degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and received his CPA certification while at Ernst & Young.
