Ed acquired hands-on hotel experience as an employee of the Best Western Hotel in Oakland, CA and the Marriott Hotel in Berkeley, CA, and was also an independent Support Services Contractor for a PMS startup. Presently, he sits on the board of the California Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA). In the past, he has been very active with
the California Lodging Industry Association, and in 2001 was the recipient of the CLIA President’s Award. Ed is currently the only vendor on Vantage Hospitality Group’s “Value Brands Advisory Board”, a position he has served five times in the past. Ed is married, the father of two, and lives in Northern California. His hobbies include hiking, water polo, gardening and canning.
