Elizabeth Silverman began her career in Wall Street in 1992 and has extensive experience in the identification, analysis and financing of new investment opportunities. As a former Vice President and Senior Research Analyst with Robertson Stephens she specialized in identifying, researching and recommending medical technologies. In 1995 Ms.

Silverman was one of the first analysts to understand the investment potential of the genomics arena and has written and lectured widely on this and other groundbreaking technologies. She has served as an advisor to major life sciences venture capital firms. Ms. Silverman has held senior positions at the investment banks of Punk Ziegel and Alex Brown & Sons. In addition, Ms. Silverman's background includes operating experience at both small and large organizations. Prior to 1992 she held senior management positions at Imclone Systems, a biotechnology company, and at Schering Plough Corporation, a major pharmaceutical company. Ms. Silverman holds a BA in biology from the University of Chicago, an MS in genetics from Columbia University and an MBA from New York University and has spent her entire career in the biomedical industry.
