Drew Gamet began his career in public education teaching a summer music program in the Boston Public schools. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he then taught at the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico. Mr. Gamet was hired to a teaching position at Crozier Middle School in Inglewood, CA and moved to the Los Angeles
metropolitan area where he first served as Music Director, then as Categorical Programs Director.
As Director of Categorical Programs he oversaw the implementation of Title I, Title III (English Learners), Quality Education Investment Act, Economic Impact Aid and lead the implementation programs focused on helping teachers to use data to drive instructional decisions, as well as Professional Learning Communities. Mr. Gamet currently serves as a school administrator.
Mr. Gamet possesses an undergraduate degree from Boston University. He later attended the University of Oregon as a Graduate Teaching Fellow and received a Master’s Degree in Music Education.
