Doug is a co-founder of EKOS Corporation and has been active as a bio engineer for 44 years. He brings a rich background in product development, clinical studies and operations in the areas of ambulatory ECG monitoring, non-invasive blood pressure measurement, prosthetic limbs, artificial kidney dialysis, fiber optic blood gas sensing and
therapeutic ultrasound.
Prior to founding EKOS, he held management positions at 3M Health Care and Eli Lilly (Physio Control Corporation).
Doug has a doctorate in mechanical/bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical engineering from Princeton University.
