Douglas co-founded Silverleaf Venture Partners to pursue cannabis-focused investing starting in 2017. The partners have completed over 25 investments in noteworthy companies including Jane Technologies, Ebbu and many others. As a partner of the Silverleaf companies since 2005 Doug has over two decades of experience as a principal investor in
private equity and real estate. Completing his first transaction at the age of 17, his career has allowed him to complete over 150 round-trip investment transactions. Douglas graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Finance, has been a licensed real estate broker for over 30 years and has managed outside capital for over a decade.
