Mr. Jackson is Executive Vice President of Chemicals and Oxides as of March 2013.
Previously he was Senior Vice President of Business Development and Sales/Marketing of Molycorp, Inc. having joined the company in 2010.
From 2002 to 2010, he was a private investor and in 2010 founded and is the principal of Optimal Solutions SV LLC, a
management consulting company.
From 1988 to 2002 he was with Dyno Nobel, Inc. (“Dyno”), the largest operating subsidiary of Dyno Nobel ASA, a global commercial explosives supplier.
While with Dyno, he held a variety of positions, including serving as President and CEO where he had the responsibility for operations in North and South America, Dyno’s largest market, while establishing new operations in the high growth markets of Latin America.
Mr. Jackson started his career with Union Oil Company of California (“Unocal”), where his roles included Engineer-Chemical Sales/Service and District Sales Manager – Industrial Chemical Marketing.
Mr. Jackson received his B.S. Engineering from Washington State University in 1983 and his Masters of Business Administration from California State University in 1988.
