Doug Centilli is an accomplished executive with over two decades of service at the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., where he held prominent positions such as Chief of Staff to United States Congressman Kevin Brady and Director of National Economic Policy for The Joint Economic Committee. His contributions to healthcare policy,
particularly in biotechnology and R&D, have been pivotal.
As a Member of the Founders' circle of The Texas A&M Institute for Genomic Medicine, Doug is deeply involved in cutting-edge genomic research, overseeing the world’s largest library of embryonic mouse stem cells.
His public service journey commenced in the Texas Capitol in Austin, where he occupied senior roles for members of the House of Representatives and served as a Special Assistant in the Office of Governor Bill Clements.
Doug extends his commitment to various boards, including the Archer Center at the University of Texas and Sights Unseen, a program dedicated to providing vision care in developing countries. Additionally, he lends his expertise to the advisory board of Helping a Hero, an organization offering specially adapted homes and community support for severely injured military personnel.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Doug also proudly represented the institution as a member of the Texas A&M football team.
