Dirk has been working in the field of instrumentation and control for over 20 years.
In the last 16 years Dirk has specialised in process automation in a wide range of industries including food and beverages, manufacturing and mineral processing.
Dirk’s current role at PanAust is to improve the throughput, recovery and grades at the current
operations through automation control.
A large portion of Dirk’s time is spent analysing PanAust’s plants performances to identify opportunities for improvement. Dirk’s objective is to highly automate PanAust’s operations to maximise their economic benefit. He believes a plant that is easy to run will be a well-run profitable plant.
