RICHARD K. BLAYLOCK, Owner/CEO of 12 Oaks Senior Living, brings with him a wealth of experience regarding all aspects of senior living, real estate development and management. A Dallas native, Dick is a 1981 graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Certificates of Real
Estate, Real Estate Finance and Mortgage Banking.
After experience in commercial real estate brokerage and a position providing marketing/sales leadership, real estate and development services for Twelve Oaks Retirement Villages, he and father, Charles C. Blaylock, formed 12 Oaks Senior Living in 1992 to provide development/construction and management services for senior living property ownership groups. Currently, 12 Oaks manages ten (10) senior living communities in Texas and Oklahoma, offering independent/assisted living and memory care lifestyles. Notably, he led the development of Caruth Haven Court, a luxury assisted living and memory care community at Lincoln Park in Dallas, which 12 Oaks managed from its opening in 1999-2017.
