Dewayne’s diverse aviation career spans over 30 years. He served 22 years in the US Navy as a technician maintaining rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft as well as performing avionics component back shop repairs. He was an avionics systems maintenance instructor, in-flight technician instructor / evaluator and flight test aircrewman. Upon
retiring from the Navy, Dewayne worked as a manufacturing ERP software consultant and implementation project manager. His passion for aviation drew him back and he joined Skyplus Technologies as a software implementation manager servicing civilian aviation organizations. Upon the acquisition of Skyplus Technologies by Textron, Dewayne continued his career with SkyBOOKS, (a software development and service (SaaS) provider for government, Part 91, 135 and 145 operators), holding the positions of Business Systems Analyst, Product Development Manager, Operations Manager and ultimately General Manager.
Dewayne has served in the military and civilian sectors in managerial positions including inventory control, quality control, maintenance planning, fleet maintenance management and maintenance program development. His aviation maintenance expertise coupled with his business acumen and aviation centric software solution development, deployment and implementation experience serve as an excellent resource for TRAXXALL and their customer base.
Dewayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University
