Dev Mukherji is the founder of EcoWise AI, an AI-powered category management platform built for independent convenience retailers. With 15 years of retail analytics and FMCG category strategy experience working with major UK retailers and brands, Dev identified a critical gap — independent convenience store owners making stocking and ranging
decisions without the data intelligence available to large supermarket chains. Drawing on his deep retail expertise, Dev co-founded EcoWise AI in collaboration with the Applied AI and Data Science team at the University of Warwick to democratise retail intelligence for the independent sector. A former MasterChef contestant (2020) and author of a flexitarian food book (2022), Dev brings a unique blend of commercial rigour, passion for food and sustainability, and a founder's drive to build something that genuinely matters for independent retailers and their communities.
