Derek Wise is the Chief Technology Officer of Kyriba, the global leader in liquidity performance. He is responsible for driving the company’s technology strategy, engineering organization, and platform innovation, including its Trusted AI portfolio.
Derek brings more than twenty years of enterprise software leadership spanning cloud
infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and data platforms. He joins Kyriba from Civica, a Blackstone-backed GovTech company, where he served as Chief Product & Technology Officer leading innovation across a platform serving 100 million citizens globally.
Previously, he was Chief Product Officer at Oracle Data Cloud, a role that followed Oracle’s acquisition of Grapeshot, where Derek served as CTO. Earlier, he held senior engineering leadership positions at BenevolentAI and Jagex, and founded the cloud infrastructure company GNi.
A former United States Marine, Derek is also a Strategic Advisor to IQ Capital and Adarga.
