He has worked in the energy, mining, oil & gas, transport, telecommunications and media sectors where he has led multidisciplinary teams of people to compete in tough markets and win new business.
Derek has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in finance from University of Western Sydney, an M.B.A. majoring in corporate strategy from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Certified Advisor of the Advisory Board Centre.
