Derek has over 33 years of international Sales and Marketing experience in the Semiconductor industry. Most recently he was the Vice President of World Wide Sales at Amalfi Semiconductor, a successful company in CMOS power amplifiers for the 2G cellular market. He has substantial Sales and Marketing experience of the Asian cellular handset and
mobile wireless markets, and contributed significantly towards Amalfi’s success.
Prior to that, Derek was the Senior Vice President at Silicon Storage Technology, Inc (SST) from 1997 to 2010, responsible for building and running a Sales and Marketing organization Worldwide. SST was a world leader in the design and high volume manufacturer of NOR Flash, NAND Flash controllers, solid state drives, Microcontrollers and wireless Power Amplifier technology.
Previously, Derek held various executive positions at MMS, Hitachi and Texas Instruments as well as the co-founder of Mosaic Semiconductor during his long career which includes working both in Europe and the US.
