As the founder of AI Seer since December 2019, Dennis Yap leads a deep-tech startup dedicated to combating misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation using advanced AI technologies. Our flagship product, Facticity.AI, was invented by Dennis and his team and recognized by TIME's Best Inventions as one of 14 AIs for 2024-25 for
delivering real-time, explainable fact-checking across multimedia formats, setting a new benchmark in transparent, reference-based validation. He recently launched @ArAIstotle and $FACY to help rewire the attention economy’s perverse incentives and aims to build a truth economy. Before founding AI Seer, he worked for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Princeton University, JFDI.Asia, and Re.A.Pra in Research. He is preoccupied with defeasibility reasoning, the philosophy of science, communication, and natural laws.
