Denis Efremov is a Principal at R136 Ventures. He has more than 10 years of experience in investment management and consulting focusing on FinTech, enterprise SaaS, marketplaces, mobility, FoodTech and EduTech sectors.
Prior to joining R136 Ventures, he served as a principal at a venture capital firm Fort Ross Ventures, before that he served as an
investment director at the midmarket private equity and venture capital firm. Denis participated in the structuring of 5 fund structures with more than $200m in committed capital and was engaged in more than 10 technology focused transactions amounting to $130m. Prior to that Denis was involved at various consulting and research projects for financial institutions with McKinsey & Company.
He is also an angel investor and a mentor to various tech startups, serving as mentor at Alchemist Accelerator and Google Growth Lab Accelerator, earlier he served as the Venture Partner at a Swiss-based accelerator Seedstars International.
