Deepika Rajesh is Vice President, Stem Cell Biology & Developmental Immunology at Notch Therapeutics. Deepika is a stem cell biologist and cancer immunologist with over 22 years of supervisory experience in the biotech industry and academia, having most recently served as Senior Director, Research & Development at FUJIFILM Cellular
Dynamics, Inc (FCDI). Deepika brings a track record of technical innovation with over 20+ pending and granted patent applications all over the world. The focus of her research has been on reprogramming various somatic cell types to human pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and their subsequent differentiation into hematopoietic, cardiovascular, neural, hepatic, and pancreatic lineages. Additionally, she has worked on the engraftment of hematopoietic progenitor cells and the development of humanized mouse models to study immune responses. At FCDI, Deepika partnered with senior leadership members on several strategic collaborations and managed multi-disciplinary teams in research, intellectual property, manufacturing, and quality control to commercially launch a variety of iPSC-derived cell types for disease modeling and drug discovery markets. Prior to joining FCDI, Deepika worked in the immune-oncology space on anti-idiotypic antibodies, radiation sensitizers, and signal transduction pathways. Dr. Rajesh received a Ph.D. in Applied Biology from the University of Mumbai, India, and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
