Dee Temples was named Senior Vice President of Air Operations for Envoy Air in January 2014. Temples is responsible for Envoy Air’s Line & Base Maintenance, Technical Services, Flight Operations and System Operations Control.
A 17-year employee of Envoy Air and Trans World Airlines, Inc., Temples previously served as Vice President of Planning
& Treasury for Envoy Air from 2011 until 2013. He was Director of Financial Planning & Analysis prior to his appointment as an Eagle Vice President.
Temples joined TWA in 1998 and served in a variety of roles there including: Senior Financial Analyst and later Manager, Internal Consulting Group; Director, Financial Analysis; and Director, Alliance / Trans World Express Finance. At TWA, Dee worked on a variety of projects involving diverse areas of the company to include engine overhaul processes, aircraft modifications, sales strategies, fleet planning, flight profitability, and the introduction of regional jet flying at Trans World Express. At Envoy Air, Dee served in a several roles including: Manager, American Connection Administration; Manager, Future Planning; and Director, Planning.
Temples, a life-long aviation and transportation system enthusiast, earned a Private Pilot’s License at the age of 18 years old. He also worked at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in North Carolina as an Operations Officer before starting his airline career.
Temples earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Clemson University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
