As a co-founder and owner of Sysrepublic, David West is the Global CEO and is responsible for Vision and Strategic Direction.
Over the past 24 years, David has worked with a wide variety of retailers, hospitality and entertainment companies including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda Walmart, Marks and Spencer, Metro, Migros, Superdrug, B&Q, Safeway,
Iceland Frozen Foods, Harrods, Warner Brothers, Mitchell’s and Butlers, HMV and Sears Mexico.
Between 1999 and 2002, David was a Consultant within the Award Winning Integration Services team at Marks and Spencer.
Prior to Marks and Spencer, David was a Retail Technology Consultant at Dimenica Ltd for 2 years focusing on Microsoft technologies.
David started his career in 1988 at POST Software International (PSI), the pioneers behind PC technology in retail and the ARTS data model. Over 7 years, David’s roles spanned product development, design and architecture.
