David Tilstone leads the renewables team for MIRA in Europe, overseeing asset management of the existing renewables asset portfolio, as well as all transaction activity in the renewables sector. David was a key part of the acquisition team for what became the MEIF Renewables portfolio in MEIF1, leading a number of acquisitions as well as the recent
realisation process. David also led the acquisitions of Varmevarden, Renvico and GIB OSW Co.Having joined MIRA in 2005, David brings to his role extensive senior management experience across renewable energy and utility assets. David spent 12 years working in the energy industry, starting his career with National Grid (the UK’s electricity transmission provider). He also worked at TXU Europe, performing a wide range of commercial roles within the UK and Continental European Energy markets including operations, major contract negotiations and re-structuring and M&A activity.
