David Simons is a Director of Private Equity at Future Fund, the A$129.6bn sovereign wealth fund of Australia. He joined Future Fund in 2008 and helps manage A$24 billion of commitments to private equity funds, co-investments and other direct investment opportunities globally. He leads the due diligence effort for new manager appointments and sits
on a number of Advisory Boards. David has 16 years’ experience in private equity and, prior to joining Future Fund, he spent 6 years making direct investments for a PE fund in Australasia. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Commerce from the University of Auckland.
