David Sharp, Director of Managed Services and Infrastructure at LiquidHub, brings more than 20 years of experience as a global management and technology leader. Prior to LiquidHub, David was Assistant Vice President of Global Operations and Customer Service of the ACE Group, the ACE Group is one of the world's largest multiline property and
casualty insurers with operations in 50 countries. As a Global leader, David was responsible for a $15M IT spend; support of 10,000+ employees; multiple data centers; resources in multiple offshore locations including India. Prior to ACE, David was at Motorola within their Global Information Systems team.
He drove strategy and risk reduction initiatives improving service levels to the business and information technology. David was responsible for service centers delivery management, unified enterprise audio and video communications, end user computing, disaster recovery, business continuity, SAS 70, Sys Trust and IT Sarbanes Oxley Compliance and client satisfaction and participated in the development and modernization of global delivery organizations.
David's has also worked for other global companies including Elite Sportswear, MedRisk, Pennfield, CIGNA, Continental Insurance and ARCO Chemical Company. David also has consulted for numerous companies and boards on service management and technology trends and strategy. Currently he serves as the Vice President of Finance for HDI Philly, HDI Global Board - Desktop Support Advisory (Charter Member), Advisory Board Member - St. Joseph's University, Decision Support Sciences, Advisory Board Member - Lower Bucks County Technical High School, Electronics Communications Program.
David has been a guest speaker at multiple universities including Villanova, Drexel and St. Joseph's University. When he is not working or spending time with his family David serves as Deputy Chief and is a life member of his local hometown fire company.
David holds professional designations in Service Centers, Security, Infrastructure, Auditing, Business Continuity, Project Management and IT Governance. He received his M.S. in Information System from Drexel University in Philadelphia PA, his B.S. in Information Systems with a focus on Systems Analysis/Design and a minor in Music.
