Dr. Pryde joined Curadev after 19 years at Pfizer where he built a strong track record of leading the medicinal chemistry component of programs in several target classes. This led to the delivery of clinical candidates within the antivirals, pain, genitourinary and vaccine research areas. He also led the exploratory chemistry group at Pfizer which
supported antivirals, internal medicine and the pain research and was responsible for building an early portfolio of sustainable projects. Dr. Pryde is the author of numerous research publications and patents. He has an honors degree in chemistry from the University of Strathclyde, did his doctoral research at the University of Nottingham and post-doctoral work at Colorado State University. He is also a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the organizing committee of the Society for Medicines Research and holds CChem and FRSC status.
