David Pariser is a Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. He is also the senior physician in Pariser Dermatology Specialists, Ltd. Current and past board participation include the Board of Directors of the International League of Dermatologic Societies, Medical Advisory Board of the
National Psoriasis Foundation and the International Hyperhidrosis Society, the Editorial Board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Managed Care magazine.
He participated as a principal investigator in over 350 clinical trials; has been a guest speaker at over 550 educational events, worldwide, has been presented with the Gold Triangle Award from the American Academy of Dermatology in 2001, and received 5 Presidential Citations from the American Academy of Dermatology. Well written, his works include 3 textbooks, two-dozen invited papers, nearly 60 scientific poster presentations and over 110 original works in peer-reviewed Journals.
Pariser obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, MD; degree from Medical College of Virginia; holds fellowships from the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology and the American College of Physicians.
Pariser trained as a dermatology resident in Florida at the University of Miami and is Board Certified in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology.
