David S. Massias is the co-founder and CEO of Shadow Health, Inc. which is a multi-disciplinary educational software developer of rich learning environments and Digital Clinical Experiences™(DCEs). Shadow Health develops these educational environments to address the critical issues facing our national and global health care systems - maintaining
quality-of-care in the face of increasing provider shortages. They are positioned to reform the status quo of allied healthcare education delivery by providing a virtual, accurate, and in-depth clinical environment to practice diagnostic reasoning, communication, and procedural skills.
Prior to the establishment of Shadow Health, David was a partner with the V2R Group, focused on acquiring and commercializing university technologies (i.e., ICU Data Systems, Inc., Red Lambda, Inc.), and a member of the PricewaterhouseCooper’s mergers and acquisitions group in their New York City and Chicago offices since 2000. As an adjunct Professor, David was honored with the 2008 Outstanding Faculty Award from the Masters of Science in Entrepreneurship Program at the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida and serves on education centric boards such as the University of Florida’s Innovation through Institutional Integration.
