David Manela is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Exactius. Since joining the ideeli team in early 2008, David has played a pivotal role in growing the company from retail startup to established industry leader. As chief revenue officer, he oversees the marketing, merchandising, planning and e-commerce functions.
As the head of marketing
from 2008 to 2012, David led the company's branding, acquisition and loyalty teams. David also served as acting general merchandise manager from 2008 until 2011, when the company was named America's fastest-growing private company by Inc. magazine, and was instrumental in building ideeli's world-class merchandising group across the ready-to-wear, accessories and shoes categories.
Prior to joining ideeli, David spent a decade with the online luxury lifestyle retailer Vivre. David earned his MBA in finance from Rouen Graduate School of Management and an MA in European history from the University of Rouen in France.
