Prior to starting XPV Capital, Mr. Henderson was a Vice President with the private merchant bank Kinghaven Capital Corporation (now VRG Capital). At Kinghaven, he was responsible for executing direct investments in a broad range of industries, M&A transactions, and corporate development work for a number of portfolio companies.
Mr.
Henderson has built an extensive global network in the water sector as a respected investor, speaker and expert contributor in the area of water technology and investing. Some of the organizations he has worked with include: US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Global Water Intelligence, American Water Intelligence, Water Environment Federation, International Water Association, WaterCAMPWS, Government of Ontario, Singapore International Water Week, The China Green Technology Initiative, InterAction Council, Confluence, The Blue Economy, ImagineH2O, Artemis Water Strategy, Cleantech Group, Brookings Institute, and LUX Research.
Mr. Henderson is a Director of FATHOM Water Holdings, Newterra Group Ltd., and Ontario WaterTAP, and is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization. He was a recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 Award, has received the Ontario Premier’s Award of Excellence, and was given the Global Champion Award for SIFE (now Enactus) for his contribution to the international success of the organization.
Mr. Henderson was educated at Ryerson University’s School of Business, where he specialized in the Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development program and received the Ryerson Center for Entrepreneurship Education & Research Award.
