David Held is based out of the Jericho, NY office. Prior to joining J.S. Held, Held worked in the Washington DC office for Held Enloe & Associates as a consultant. Held has worked extensively on some of the largest and most complex losses over the past five years. Most notably, Held has worked on engagements related to the tornado at
Lambert St. Louis International Airport, the events of Hurricane Irene, flooding in Thailand as well as the most recent damages sustained from Hurricane Sandy.
Held has a background in statistics and economics and has used these tools to help advance himself in the Construction Consulting Industry.
Held holds a Bachelors of Liberal Arts with a concentration in economics from Colgate University and a Masters of Science in Construction Administration from Columbia University.
Held is a certified Project Management Professional “PMP” through the Project Management Institute “PMI.” Held is a certified Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) & Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (SRT) through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Held holds a LEED Green Associate credential though the U.S. Green Building Council.
