Mr. Harpley has 34 years of experience in environmental studies and management related to the mining industry, initially in South Africa and subsequently in Canada and the Americas. He was an environmental manager for several large consulting firms, undertaking studies to permit new mines, close existing mines, develop waste and water management
plans. Since joining CZN, he has been responsible for all environmental issues, and led the effort to acquire new operating permits for the mine and access road, including authoring much of the material for regulatory submission, and appointing, managing and reviewing the work of consultants.
