Mr. Firth manages Opes Advisors client services and investment operations groups, as well as the firm’s compliance. Dave’s group establishes new accounts, monitors asset transfers, produces quarterly and on-demand reports, develops client communications and responds to client requests.
Dave is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a
member of the Financial Planning Association of Silicon Valley.
Following a 20-year career in the semiconductor industry, Dave began his profession in financial planning and investment management with Hoefer and Arnett, a San Francisco-based investment advisor. At Hoefer and Arnett, he established investment portfolios for new and existing clients, and revamped the operations, customer service and reporting functions of the group. Following this, Dave joined Pacific Mountain Advisors in 2001 as a partner and registered Investment Advisor Representative, where he focused his efforts on portfolio diversification, risk minimization and client goal achievement through the planning and investment process.
Dave graduated from California State University with a BA in accounting and lives in Santa Cruz with his wife Jennifer. His two sons are attending college in Southern California.
