As the co-founder and vice-president of operations for Surf Air, David Eyerly calls upon his experience managing Frontier Airlines’ Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) airport operations. He manages the day-to-day operations of the company, and is instrumental in developing Surf Air’s future flight plans, pilot agreements, and other related initiatives.
A
licensed commercial pilot with an instrument rating, David also received a B.S. in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. David was also Transportation Security Officer at Dallas Love Field airport with the Transportation Security Administration.
David previously worked in alternative energy as a landman for Wind Works Company, where he developed systems for tracking and identifying land owners. He represented the company at external events, and spoke at public forums to promote development efforts. David holds training in crew resource management, professional development, spatial disorientation, and hypoxia, or altitude sickness.
