David Evans leads ADCB's technology team and invented the company's "lock-release" platform for antibody purification. A co-founder of ADC Biotechnology, David was previously R&D Manager and co-founder (2005) of Reaxa – the pharma purification company from which ADCB was spun-out in 2010. He has over 20 years'
experience in the application of new technologies to biotechnology production process development - including protein, peptide and DNA fragment technology.
Prior to leading Reaxa's development programmes, Dr. Evans held a series of science and techno-commercial positions (1998 – 2005) with Avecia Biotechnology, Zeneca LSM and Cambridge Research Biotechnology.
David graduated from the University of Sunderland with a B.Sc. in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He gained his PhD. in Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Nottingham, where he was later a Post Doctoral Research Fellow.
