As president of General Mills Canada, Dave Dudick oversees one of the largest food companies in Canada. The company markets Big G cereals; Betty Crocker desserts, snacks and Helper dinner mixes; Pillsbury ready-to-bake goods; and Old El Paso Mexican foods.
Previously, he was senior vice president, and president of Convenience Stores &
Foodservice, with responsibility for numerous business channels including foodservice distributors, restaurant accounts, convenience stores, vending, schools and universities, and bakeries.
Dudick joined General Mills in October 1979 as a sales representative in western New York. He moved through the sales ranks and held U.S. field sales director positions in the southwestern, midwestern and northeastern regions.
In July 2004, he was named vice president of sales in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dudick was promoted to senior vice president, and president of U.S. Channels in the Consumer Foods Sales division in May 2010. In that role, he oversaw the General Mills Walmart sales team, the Club Channel, and the Discount Drug and Dollar Region, as well as the Channels Innovation Team.
He was named president of Convenience Stores & Foodservice in March 2012.
Dudick is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and an executive network member of Leoville Holdings Glencoe Capital Private Equity firm. He is a member of the General Mills Diversity Council, Licensing Board and the Compliance Committee.
