David Cormack is a Partner within Deloitte Consulting’s Technology Advisory practice where he specialises in helping clients create and sustain value at the intersection of clients’ business and technology strategies. He is the Consulting National Mining Sector leader and has over 25 years of deep mining industry consulting and operations
experience and he has gained an excellent understanding of the entire mining value chain from exploration to corporate affairs. He led the Deloitte “Innovation in Mining: Australia 2016” survey and co-authored the report.
David studied mining engineering at the University of Johannesburg and holds an MBA from Bond University and an MSc in Mineral Economics from Curtin University. He is married to Alison and has two daughters, he enjoys the great outdoors, mountain biking, tennis, his dogs and technology gadgets.
