Mr. Conover is Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for Kinder Morgan, the largest energy infrastructure company in North America. His responsibilities include managing external and internal communications and overseeing the company’s public affairs activities.
Prior to joining Kinder Morgan, Mr. Conover was Managing
Director of Grayling USA’s Washington, D.C. office, where he also led the energy, environment and sustainability practice. His government service was at the U.S. Department of Energy and the United States Senate, and he held senior positions at CH2M HILL and the Bipartisan Policy Center.
Mr. Conover holds a J.D. cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor’s degree with highest honors from the University of Virginia.
Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates 84,000 miles of pipelines and approximately 180 terminals. The company's pipelines transport primarily natural gas, refined petroleum products, CO2 and crude oil and its terminals store, transfer and handle such products as gasoline, ethanol, coal, petroleum coke and steel.
