David Carter brings over 30 years of senior leadership, financial operations, capitalization, and M&A experience to Red Lambda. Previously, he was Executive Vice President and CFO for the Banc Corporation (TBNC), a $1.4 billion publicly traded financial institution headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
He served for two years as President
of the Bank, the Banc Corporation’s primary subsidiary, comprised of 26 branches throughout Alabama and the Florida panhandle.
Prior to the Banc Corporation, Mr. Carter was Executive Vice President and CFO for Trustmark Bank (TRMK), a publicly traded regional financial institution headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi.
During his tenure with Banc Corporation and Trustmark Bank, Mr. Carter played a pivotal role in raising capital and executing the acquisition and merger of 22 financial institutions. He has vast experience in dealing with the SEC and banking regulatory agencies.
