Mr. Bryant has more than 26 years of operational, commercial and medical leadership and management experience. He is a collaborative change manager and strategic leader at heart. Mr. Bryant has an entrepreneurial background in scaling and growing businesses organically as well as through acquisition and integration. He has succeeded in growing and
operating both private and publicly held businesses.
Most recently he held the role of CEO with CBLPath; a company of which he is also a co-founder. In 2010, as President and Chairman of the Board, Mr. Bryant led the transaction that made CBLPath part of Sonic Healthcare's United States federation of laboratories. As CEO, he led the integration of the company's anatomic and molecular testing services into Sonic Healthcare USA. Additionally, Mr. Bryant recruited and built CBLPath's Sales and Marketing organization as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He subsequently served as the company's Chief Operating Officer during a period of strong, sustained growth and profitability. He helped lead funding initiatives that capitalized CBLPath and worked closely with private equity sponsors at the board level.
Prior to joining CBLPath, Mr. Bryant was a Senior Regional Manager at DIANON Systems, Inc. (formerly, NASDAQ: DIAN). Mr. Bryant served in the United States Marine Corps for six years followed by an additional eight years in the Marine Corps Reserves. During Desert Storm, he was an Executive Officer of a Marine Infantry Company. He was awarded a Navy Commendation Medal for his performance. He resigned his commission as a Major in 2002. Mr. Bryant holds a B.S. in Economics with a Technical Option in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, N.C. Mr. Bryant is an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization and serves with various non-profit organizations. He is married and the father of five daughters.
