David Brossard is the Chief Technology Officer at Axiomatics where he oversees the design and development of the next generation of authorization solutions. Previously, David ran Identity at Salesforce where he oversaw authentication, federation, and single-sign-on capabilities. In particular he drove the development of the new version of Customer
Identity (CIAM) at Salesforce. Previously David worked at Axiomatics to lead product management, solution architecture, and sales engineering. He grew the sales engineering team to 10+ employees across Europe and America. Previously, he worked for 5 years at British Telecom's Security Architectures Center as a Senior Security Researcher.
His main area of expertise is Identity & Access Management as well as API security. David has published several papers and contributed to several books on the topic of SOA security and governance. Today David focuses on product strategy and alignment with customer requirements. David is a frequent speaker at conferences such as Gartner, Kuppinger Cole's European Identity Conference, and Identiverse. He is a founding member of IDPro, a co-founder of the AuthZ newsletter (https://authz.substack.com/) and the chair of the Open ID Foundation's AuthZEN Working Group.
