David is co-founder and Managing Director of BMC. Since 2008, David has been personally involved in investing in small business to lower middle market as well as venture capital. David took a hands-on approach in all of his investments, including specifically the areas of finance and operations. David has served on the Board of all of his holdings,
including being Chairman of the Board of one holding that has eclipsed
$50 million in annual revenue.
David is also the co-founder and Managing Director of BMC’s sister firm, Brixey & Meyer, Inc. Brixey & Meyer is a regional CPA and business advisory firm with offices in Dayton, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio. David co-founded the firm in 2002. Brixey & Meyer is recognized as a leading provider of accounting and business advisory services in the region.
Prior to co-founding Brixey & Meyer, David spent several years with
Ernst & Young, LLP leading audits, including employee benefit plan audits, reviews and other attest engagements for nonprofit entities, publicly and privately owned companies, hospital systems, and colleges and universities in Central and Southwest Ohio.
