David Andersen is the Vice President of Communications for Atlanta-based FiPath, formerly eRollover, the leading online destination for retirement planning. His role has progressed from Advisor to the Founders, to investor, to the Head of Communications.
With a history of implementing strategic public relations, crisis management, media
relations, government affairs, investor relations, and employee communications programs in support of overall business objectives at Fortune 500 companies, Dave was a member of the original senior management team at Charter Communications, Inc., controlled by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. He also served as Vice President of Global Communications for CNBC, and was a member of the original senior management team at Atlanta-based Cox Communications, Inc.
Previous to FiPath, Dave was the Principal at DCA Management Consulting Services, a retained independent management consulting firm providing strategic and tactical counsel in public relations, media relations, crisis management, investor relations, government affairs, new media and executive coaching in interpersonal, presentation, interviewing, and communication methods.
Retained clients have included a broadband telecommunications company owned by a New York-based venture capital firm, a provider of wireless broadband services to rural America, a full service social media agency, the first multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) security provider, a provider of telephone, online, and direct mail customer satisfaction survey services, a market research and business strategy consultancy; a medical devices company, a bank under FDIC scrutiny, two trade associations, and two executive search firms.
Dave serves on the Advisory Board of AdByNet (www.adbynet.com), an online media buying agency.
A graduate of the University of Kansas with a BS in Journalism, Dave received the Vanguard Award, the cable television industry's highest individual honor.
Dave is a native of Detroit.
