David Ackert is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Canada at WSP Global. David has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Prior to joining WSP, David was the President and CEO for Focus Corporation where he delivered significant growth and profitability to his shareholders.
Before joining Focus David led a
major international division for one of the largest global providers of products and services that spanned the drilling, evaluation, completion, production and intervention cycles of oil and natural gas wells. David has held executive positions around the world – from Western Canada, Russia, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
David holds an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business (University of Calgary).
